Start a walk-home session when you leave. It runs in the background and ends on a timer, so it is never an always-on tracker.

A one-tap button calls your local emergency number when you choose. Stopping the alarm needs your PIN or biometrics.
Walk-home questions
Does the siren work if my phone is on silent?
Yes. The siren plays over the mute switch and the strobe lights the screen, so the deterrent works even when your phone is silenced.
Will it drain my battery on a long walk?
A walk-home session uses background location, which has a battery cost, so sessions end automatically on a timer to keep that bounded. You can also just trigger from the lock screen without a session.
What if I have no signal?
The siren, strobe and recording are local to your phone and need no connection. The alert and evidence queue and send the moment you are back in coverage.
